Our grapes
The family of Dina Aguiar began planting our grape varieties in 1888,.
We use different grapes to make our wines:
Touriga Nacional - Touriga Franca - Tinta Roriz
Souzão - Tinta Barroca - Tinto Cão
Tinta Amarela - Malvasia Fina - Gouveio - Viosinho
Códega - Malvasia Rei - Arinto
Our barrels
Our wine is aged between 8 to 16 months in new French oak barrels.
The porous nature of an oak French barrel allows evaporation and oxygenation to occur in wine but typically not at levels that would cause oxidation or spoilage.
Our corks
The precious and versatile vegetable tissue known as cork is the outer bark of the cork oak tree.
Portugal is one of the best producers of Natural Wine Cork.
It is the only sealant that ensures a perfect seal and allows the natural evolution of the wine.
Our tecnology
We produce top quality wines, grateful to our tradition, know-how and innovativeness ability.
The Art of producing wines with respect for tradition as well as the ability to integrate new technologies is surely the key to our success.
